SCNHRB has two copies, both incomplete

SCNHRB c. 1 has Bd. 1, Heft 1-2, and Bd. 2-3, 5-6, only. The title leaf for Bd. 1, Heft 1-2 has been mutilated (torn in half and reinserted with some of the blank portion wanting). Bd. 3 and Bd. 5 both lack title leaves and possibly one or more additional preliminary leaves

SCNHRB Bd. 2, c. 1 has old handwritten inscription on front cover: J.M. Aldrich; with stamp: A.L. Melander from the library of J.M. Aldrich, and partial label (from bookdealer W. Junk?)

SCNHRB Bd. 3, c. 1 has tipped in at front: a brief note in English handwritten in pencil about the date of the volume, signed J.H.B.[?], Sept. 1934

SCNHRB Bd. 6, c. 1 has a faint red Smithsonian stamp with accession number 13778

SCNHRB Bd. 1, Heft 1-2 and Bd. 3, 5-6 of c. 1 have later dark red buckram library bindings with gilt-lettered spines. SCNHRB Bd. 2, c. 1 has an old, possibly original, blue paper wrapper with later typed cover label, housed in a modern archival paperboard box

SCNHRB c. 2 has Bd. 1, Heft 1-2 and Bd. 2, only. The title and dedication leaves for Bd. 2 are wanting
